Grace Patlewicz, PhD

SENIOR SCIENCE ADVISOR, CENTER OF EXCELLENCE FOR 21ST CENTURY TOXICOLOGY
ToxStrategies

My specialty is in computational toxicology, read-across, and regulatory science, with over 25 years of experience spanning Europe and North America. I bring direct insight into regulatory decision-making from my time at the U.S. EPA’s Office of Research and Development and the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, where I helped shape the science underpinning TSCA, REACH, PFAS assessments, and OECD guidance.

I help clients develop regulator-ready data packages, modeling strategies, and read-across justifications that can withstand scrutiny. Having built scalable tools such as EPA’s GenRA and led PFAS categorization frameworks, I specialize in creating transparent, defensible methodologies that bridge science and policy.

My passion is applying new approach methodologies and AI-enabled solutions in ways that are scientifically rigorous, business-savvy, and aligned with sustainability and green chemistry goals. I thrive on translating complex science into strategies that help clients make informed, forward-looking decisions that protect health, ensure compliance, and foster innovation.
